Craftwork

Today I have been planning a banner for the Tea Party on the 3rd of March and sought advice from an expert in the Textiles Department up at at the school. She baffled me with some technical jargon, but sifting through a bewildering array of options I managed to work out that felt, scissors and a sewing machine would meet the needs of the occasion (possibly glue as well if it all gets too much...) Needless to say I told her about the fundraising, and ensured that she only got away once she'd taken a leaflet for the Quiz in April. (It's no use saying you are rubbish at Quizzes, we are all rubbish at Quizzes) Luckily she noticed the bit about bringing your own drink for the evening, which she felt was a far more cheering thought for a Friday night and will hopefully have swung it.

Also Crafty - This really was a 2-for-the-price-of-1, as the Receptionist, through politeness and location, was complelled to listen to my spiel as well.

But just in case you are unconvinced, as I withdrew to the world outside I managed to detain an unwitting visitor to the school who now knows a lot more about HomeopathyforHealthinAfrica than she did.
